The unexpected and untimely loss of a loved one because of the careless actions of another can be one of the most difficult experiences a family can suffer. A Massachusetts man was recently arrested for driving the wrong way and causing a multi-vehicle accident, which led to the death of a 66-year old woman. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the driver was transported to a hospital in Worcester with non-life threatening injuries.
According to witnesses who called in the incident, the man was driving west in the eastbound lanes shortly before the fatal car crash. Two other victims from a different vehicle involved in the multi-car fatal accident were taken to the hospital for their injuries. An official noted that the cause of the accident remains under investigation but did not rule out alcohol as a factor.
