Francis C Burke Jr.

               Attorney Francis C. Burke, Jr. (Franny) graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1976 and then went on to graduate from Suffolk University Law School (Boston, MA) in 1979.

            While in Law School, Franny participated in the Student Prosecutor Program developed between the Law School and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

            Following his admission to the Massachusetts Bar in 1979, Franny began employment as a part-time District Court Prosecutor for the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and also began practicing with Attorney Robert M. Bailey in Clinton, Massachusetts.  Following a decision to enter the private practice of law on a full time basis, the firm of Bailey and Burke was established.

            After successfully completing the New Hampshire Bar Examination, Franny began practicing law in New Hampshire in 1987.  Since 1987, he has opened two New Hampshire satellite offices in Meredith and Littleton.  These offices have allowed him to pursue his outdoor interests in the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire, while providing convenient locations to advise and counsel his New Hampshire clients.

            During the course of over thirty years, Franny practiced in many areas of law, including criminal defense, motor vehicle violations, family law, civil litigation, bankruptcy and foreclosures.

            With the passage of time, Franny began to concentrate his areas of practice to where they continue today.  They include in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, areas such as:

Injuries:

            Representing Clients who have been injured or suffered loss or damage due to negligence of other parties.

Real Estate Transactions:

            Representing Buyers, Sellers and Lenders in residential and commercial purchase, sale and mortgage transactions.

Estate Planning:

            Advising Clients and preparing documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Trusts and Asset Ownership Entities.

Business:

            Advising and representing Clients on business related legal matters and creating various entities such as Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Trusts and Partnerships.

Real Estate Titles:

            Conducting and reviewing Title Examinations, Title Reports, and addressing Zoning, Land Use and Subdivision issues.  Policy writing Title Insurance Agent for First American Title Insurance in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Continuing Legal Education:

            Multiple yearly continuing Legal Education programs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts related to areas of practice.
